Market Commentary

If you believe in seasonal patterns, we have good news for you. Over the last 25 years the market as measured by the S&P 500, has gained ground 20 out of 25 times in the fourth quarter. In fact, half of the yearly gains have come over this period. As for the five losing years, two were less than 1%, and only one exceeded 10%. Actually, this pattern has held true for well over 50 years.
