A New Year begins
While a typical client did not earn as much as the market averages in 2010, it is important to remember that at the end of August, the market was down 5%, and things were looking dicey as we approached the historically difficult months of September and October. Therefore, we took a cautious approach. The market however, began to climb, and we gradually added to positions through year-end. We are now well postioned for gains in the market.
And keep in mind that over the last three years, a typical Fortress client has kept pace with the S&P500 without suffering the gut-wrenching decline of 2008!
